Morgan Icardi (born September 2006) is an Italian pianist and conductor whose work is conceived as a research practice on musical interpretation, understood both as a systemic practice and as an active device of contemporary thought.

He began his musical training in Los Angeles and continued his studies in Italy, where he developed a distinctive pianistic voice alongside a progressively defined orientation toward orchestral conducting. He completed advanced studies in conducting at the Scuola Abbado in Milan and at the Accademia Italiana di Direzione d’Orchestra under the guidance of Maestro Donato Renzetti, and is currently enrolled in the Master’s degree program in Cinema, Performing Arts, Music and Media (CAM) at the Università degli Studi di Torino.

His approach is further informed by professional training in systems thinking at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which shapes his understanding of music, orchestral practice, and cultural projects as dynamic, relational, and generative systems.

His work unfolds as an ongoing inquiry into music not merely as a completed object, but as a phenomenological process and as a living structure within contemporary culture.
